| My West African partner,
DAUDA OSHO ADEWUSI hand selected this detailed wood sculpture of native
carving. A skill that has been passed down for generations that was
completed with only a knife. Large figure standing 10 1/2 inches high by
3 3/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches is very detailed and an excellent example of
Gambia native art. Coloring is different stains, nicely separated colors
with a green hue to the back side of a local heavy hardwood, possibly
from cashew tree. Gorgeous! |
